Be in love


I am happiest when I am “in love”: with my partner, myself, my students, my kids, my cats, my home, my beautiful State of Florida, my country, my life.

Love is where its at. If I am not living my life guided by love, chances are I am not in a very good state and I am not sleeping my best at night.

Putting love first means:

  1. Giving
  2. Being present
  3. Focus on the good
  4. Smile
  5. Be the kind of person that you would want to be around
  6. Don’t take things personally
  7. Accept people for who they are
  8. Practice forgiveness
  9. Notice the little things
  10. Do the little things in your relationships
  11. Appreciate!
  12. Don’t complain
  13. Communicate honestly and directly
  14. Be gentle with yourself and others
  15. Be in The Now
  16. Make play a priority
  17. laugh often
  18. have adventures
  19. Be still and use our senses to experience the beautiful world we live in.
  20. Don’t take for granted any day or special person you have in your life. There are no guarantees in life. All we have is today.
